Our School

Welcome to Great Eccleston Copp Church of England Primary School!

Thank you for taking the time to have a look around our website, where you can learn about all the wonderful achievements, opportunities and developments at our amazing school.

Our lovely school is a vibrant school where children are enthusiastic and motivated to be the best that they can be. Every decision we make is child-focused, so that our school is constantly evolving to fit the needs of our children and families. We are very proud of our happy, thoughtful, confident pupils, who are excellent ambassadors for the love and caring which stems from our Christian Vision.  We enjoy a happy, small-school ethos where everyone is valued and nurtured as an individual and where we encourage our children to develop a range of Christian values, to help them be better equipped to respect and value others around them.

Through our engaging, well-rounded and child-led curriculum, we ensure that pupils become passionate about learning, developing high aspirations and having opportunities to develop their own skills and interests.  They are encouraged to think “outside the box” and to learn a positive growth mindset, which will prepare them for their future lives in an ever-changing world.

We have a dedicated team of staff and governors, who work hard to reach high standards in everything we do; this is further embedded through our successful relationships with parents, the local and wider community, and the Diocese.  We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school and very much value our families as active partners in their child's education.

I hope that this website will give you all the information you need.  It will grow over time as we add more information, but can never replace the first-hand experience of coming to visit us. If you have suggestions to make about its content and design, or would like to see our lovely school in action, please contact us.
