Copp children help to design all of the playground markings and they help to make the outside area as attractive as possible.
Children adopt a pot (plant container) for a year and promise to keep it flourishing with plants and flowers.

Through recycling and entering competitions enough money has been raised to buy bird tables, bat boxes, benches, picnic tables, sunshades, sunshelter, compost bins, leafmould bin, wheelbarrows and gardening tools.
Help from the Countryside Rangers, Community Services and Kirkham Prison has enabled us to have bark pathways to our wild area, a rockery and additional hedging, shrubs and trees.
Stop messing about on this computer and come and sit down.

Our Sun Shelter is was designed by one of our pupils and built by Kirkham Prison Woodwork Enterprises to provide an area of shade for the children.

Each type of tree is labelled for easy identification and catalogued in an online database.

Our Gardening Team sweep up leaves and look after our bark pathways.

Maths and Environment Trails have been devised for the playground and there are future plans for a History trail.

We have planted crocus bulbs around the edge of our playground. Mr. Murphy from Grounds Maintenance helped us. They are now flowering along with daffodils, tulips and primroses. We have planted snowdrops to flower at the beginning of the year.

We have bought benches from Kirkham Business Enterprises at Kirkham Prison. These benches are for our parents to sit on when they come to collect us after school.

Our school gates were purchased with our recycling money. One gate has our school crest on it and Copp School written in gold. Our main gates display the banner, "Welcome to Copp School".
