'Smarties' Out of School Care

Breakfast and After School Clubs

'Smarties' Out of School Care is OFSTED registered and consists of Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Club. It is owned and run by Lydia Roskell, who works at school as a teaching assistant and holds NVQ L2 and L3 in childcare and education. The clubs' qualified staff provide care for up to 24 children each session. Sessions are provided throughout school terms at the following times and prices:

Breakfast Club: 7.45am - 8.45am - £3.80

After School Club: 3.15pm - 5.45pm - £7.10

The clubs provide a range of activities for the children, which include outdoor play with a variety of outdoor equipment, arts and crafts, cookery, games, Nintendo Wii interactive games and a quiet area for homework/reading.

Healthy food is provided at each session including:

Breakfast Club: Toast, bagels, fruity loaf/tea-cakes, cereal, fresh fruit, fruit juices, milk and/or water.

After School Club: Toast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, vegetable dips, breadsticks, fruit juices, milk and/or water.

Holiday Club

Holiday Club runs during summer holidays and runs as three sessions:

Morning Session: 7.45am - 1.00pm - £12

Afternoon Session: 1.00pm - 5.45pm - £12

Full Day: 7.45am - 5.45pm - £24

We provide a morning snack and afternoon snack but you must provide a packed lunch for your child/children.

We provide a range of outdoor and indoor activities such as arts and crafts, quiet area, role play, Nintendo Wii interactive games, television area, cookery and much more.

It would be appreciated if 24 hours notice could be given to reserve/cancel a place.

Ther is also an initial £5 registration fee per child.
